Smoothie Monday!

Hi Dolls! Happy Monday! I traveled to New Orleans this weekend and let’s say, it was difficult to pass up the Gumbo (with white rice), Beignets, and adult beverages. I worked out while I was there, but not enough to make up for what I’d eaten. That said, it was time to get serious this morning. On tap, Celery, Cucumber and Lemon Water and my smoothie of choice – the “Celery, Cucumber + Kale, Oh My!” Smoothie. Uber green and healthy. I’ve been sipping on both all day. Peep the mixology below.

The Mixology. Place all ingredients into your juicer. Remember to remove the rind of the lemon first and juice away!  If you don’t have a juicer at home and don’t want to buy green juices at the store, blend this recipe in your blender. Add water or coconut water to help liquefy. You may also want to add 1/4 cup of pineapple or another apple to slightly sweeten it. (I definitely added the pineapple.) Pour and enjoy!
